The Portland Yiddish Hour was never hosted in Yiddish. Yiddish
means JEWISH. So it's ALWAYS been the Portland (Jewish) Hour. The
format of the show has been to present Jewish music and culture from
around the world, along with news and features relevant to Portland's
Jewish Community.
We changed the name recently as many people who we told about the
show ASSUMED IT WAS IN YIDDISH AND THEY WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND IT, so never
tuned in.
Your comments show you've never listened to the show, and are having a knee jerk anti-semetic reaction to the word "Jewish".

There will be exactly ZERO repercussions from this volunteer and former
staff member (Bruce Silverman) from stealing proprietary foundation
records. Bruce repeatedly threatens physical violence against people
stealing rolls of toilet paper from the KBOO bathroom (low for sure, but
WTF?), but thinks there is nothing wrong with violating both state law
and KBOO Policy.
Ani will protect him since it was apparently her shoddy protection
of confidential KBOO volunteer data which made it possible for Bruce to
steal them. Oh KBOO, why can't you get rid of these people?
