KBOO's history of embracing Foil hattery at the expense of credible reporting implies they want to be known as kook central. It's reflected in the schizoid tactics of revolutionary certainty and an inability to reflect or acknowledge error, much less learn from it.

Unfortunately, people like Mr. Morrison are not really concerned with the evidence. It’s more about making a loud noise and drawing attention to themselves than thinking a problem through, gathering information, and testing a hypothesis. How much more satisfying to be loud and ignorant than quiet and thoughtful.
That sums up the problems in KBOO culture: they would rather be loud and ignorant, than take the time to understand and learn, with the possibility they might learn they are wrong.
