Yaney, aka Sweet Heart of the Valley, is anything but a sweet heart as people should know be now. She was active harassing both Becky Chiao and Lynn Fitch on Indymedia, and by her own admission is long time friends with Mitchell and the KKK crowd. She implied having access to Thom Hartmann petition results, and actively spread the lie Blue Oregon was taking over KBOO:
Now she's going after Annabelle Jaramillo:
The pitchforks gather:
There's no context and Google searches for Annabelle Jaramillo GMO don't give useful results. So what is Yaney's problem? Even her friends aren't impressed:
And then Yaney bails....
What was that all about? Casual reading leads one to think it's an on going political issue. But there's nothing I can find outside of Facebook.
There is a petition to Betsy Close and others re GMO's from earlier this year:

The only reference to Annabell Jarmillo and GMO's I can find is search results those "enemies of the people" Blue Oregon and the article isn't even about GMO's; the GMO reference is in a sidebar. www.blueoregon.com/2013/06/doma-dead/
Jarmillo's on the page because Kari quotes her:
GMO page reference:
Not finding any specific pro GMO stance, Jarmilla is a democrat, seems comfortable communicating with Blue Oregon users, who are NOT happy about GMO's and therefore it would be news if she was a secret pro GMO supporter. The Kbots certainly would NOT be the first people to hear about it.
Do they just make up political shit as a hobby? To make themselves sound more "radical"?
Or, and I hate to bring it up, is it something as simple as "she's not one of us", that is, "white"?
Yaney Lee Ann MacIver I voted no. And I think that one playing of Democracy Now was enough. Wonder how Blue Oregon's Democrat take over of KBOO is going?
Now she's going after Annabelle Jaramillo:

And let us not forget that our own Benton County Commission, especially Annabelle Jaramillo put in Betsy Close as our State Senator and Besty was one of the Senators pushing the GMO bill. Thanks Democrats and no thanks to Annabelle Jaramillo. Don't let that woman ever serve us again! Thank you again Annabelle for screwing your constituents and shame on Kitzhaber.

George Stratten Annabelle needs to go, she is not in touch with the people of Benton Co. Lets make sure we vote her out come election time

Pam Hood Szivek Ummm. The choice for a republican mid-term position chosen by three democrats is complicated, and includes how electable they'll be as an incumbent two years later. Strategy in politics can seem counterintuitive. Annabelle didn't act alone. Talk to some more folks. Hate messages like this aren't so helpful to your causes.
George Stratten Pam I don't construe Yaneys comment as a hate message. What part is hateful? Have you read the GT about Modrell and Jaramillo wasting almost half a million dollars on a unused railroad spur. I know a young lady who got laid off from an important social services job with Benton Co today but these two can freely and foolishly waste our money.
Pam Hood Szivek The words "no thanks to...", "that woman", "screwing" are "shame on" struck me as a tad harsh and polarizing and did not seem to invite dialogue for resolution. I like Yaney; that goes without saying. I like Annabelle too. My rule of thumb is to hate no one except after God has done so decreed, and He seems pretty secretive about His judgements. So far He's given me cause/permission to hate exactly zero persons as I'm abiding in His will. Leaving God aside, and wearing my atheist or eastern or new age hat, I'm thinking that as a community, we gotta learn to find peace, make peace, and be the change. Or so I thought I heard from Yaney in past. Sorry about the County layoffs. I think the current budget pressure is due to the HP property tax ruling and deficit it creates, not due to railroad spurs, but perhaps you've studied the county financials more closely than the cursory look I took.
George Stratten Pam you do express yourself well. My point with the RR spur is they have no business spending our money on it.
Pam Hood Szivek Don't know enough to comment on history to railroads in western part of Benton county, the federal dollar contingencies/matches to counties, and the business implications of the transportation plan decisions for rural parts of county. Just not my area. Have you asked those who might know what the rationale was? My impression is that these are good, ethical folks doing the best they can in their fiduciary capacity. And receptive to questions and knowledgable in their responses.
George Stratten What I do know is Jay Dixon voted against it. I feel he has the most common sense of all the commissioners. I'm going to call his office to get more details.
And then Yaney bails....
Yaney Lee Ann MacIver Well George, I think I disagree about the rail purchase. Let's compare notes? However there are other uses of the RR such as bike trails, which are woefully underfunded. I'm not sure what they wanted in this. Will have to find out more, a bit undertheweather right now with cold. Best.

Kari Chisholm
The following comment was written by Benton County Democratic Party chair (and three-term Benton County Commissioner) Annabelle Jaramillo, who asked me to post it here:
"Bob, I appreciate that you phone-banked in Benton County. For the May 1992 ballot, the OCA actually filed the initiative prohibiting the City of Corvallis from enacting any ordinance supporting gay rights. I managed the anti-OCA campaign and we defeated them 64% to 36%. And to be sure I remembered correctly, I just checked the Benton Co. elections archives. So the struggle was partly successful in the early ‘90s."

To Governor Kitzhaber:
We oppose efforts to stop local governments from taking action against GMO seed and products. Any threat to Oregon's organic agriculture is a threat to our economy and the family farming tradition of our state. We strongly urge you to remove the Oregon Monsanto Protection Act, from the agenda for the special session.
