Pay no attention to the missing Oct 1st special board meeting Drama Monger Theresa Mitchell is ignoring. Now there's a NEW special board meeting on Oct 17th...what could it be about?

Special Board Meeting: Thursday Oct 17, 8:00-9:00 a.m.

(This is in addition to the regular monthly Board meeting, which will be on October 28th at 6 pm)

After no activity the BOD page went through several changes last week archived in various places:

The Oct 1st special meeting never happened. We know this because there isn't a mention that it was cancelled for whatever reason, like other meetings are. It's like something happened ...so bad it was ignored?

Oct 7th the date of the page update AND TM's apology no special meeting had been scheduled.

Oct 14th , as of a couple days ago, no special meeting had been scheduled.

If Ruban was removed from the board by the KBOTS, that would have to have been done in a meeting. But that never happened. Most probably he decided this clusterfukk wasn't worth it and resigned.

Still TM did not say anything one way or the other.

Hmmmm...maybe she didn't want to have to apologize again? But who made her apologize in the first place?

One reason for the special meeting might be to appoint the Prez, VP and Treasurer, because in addition to Parks and Lawrence, Rueben Demling is also gone/not listed.

2. Will the issue of the election being held without quorum be broached? HA HA HA, that's a joke. TM and company, if reallt in control, are only interested in bylaws when they can use it against their "enemies".

3. Will we discover how and why Ruben was removed/resigned?

4. Will three more of Mitchell's victims/fools/patsies be elected to the board?

5. Isn't this a lot of turn over for the board and pushing FCC regulations?

6. Will a member of the board be voted off for questionable conduct?

7. Will that same member be...gasp ...elected Board President?

We all assume TM wants the presidency. She'll spin it as being "the last best hope to protect KBOO" to her fans. Of course we all know it's a power play, and it's a good one, if you ignore ethics and principles, which she does.

But has she thought it through? If she's president it will be impossible to blame any problems from this point forward on "mysterious tinfoil corporate forces". Like the GOP and Trump, she'll have to own every misstep and problem. And we know she's her own worst enemy.

Compounding this problem, there's no reliably pliant and highly capable patsie in the wings she can appoint to the throne, confident she can control them. Conser was a dream. She's got a remaining group of moderately experienced, mostly reasonable people, she has to lie to to keep the facade going. They're not so desperate to belong to a community they will go alone with anything, though I can see Laurie giving TM the benefit of the doubt the longest.

By definition the perfect patsie is not highly competent, certainly not at a level of competence TM needs to both follow through on her promises AND attempt the Coupe Fu of bringing Ani back, without triggering a nuclear war with BOLI or the union. But she'll try anyway and something will break because she is dumb and arrogant, and if she's president it'll be her head. Even her most devoted suckers will chose to save KBOO over Theresa because hasn't Theresa told them KBOO is the mostest important thing?

But if TM is not on the presidential throne, she can't control it all. And she'll need to waste her failing health spending every moment plotting.

God it must be exhausting. If Theresa wasn't such a nasty piece of work, I'd feel sorry for her.

There could still be hold overs who are waiting for retirement, even in this age of Trump. This sorta thing is pure bureaucracy. A bored pencil pusher might not care...or they might be happy for something to do.

Any employee will have plenty to give BOLI sooner than later...

She needs to be Prez to keep the win. The other members aren't brainwashed enough. Ruba Leech and Laurie Mercier are serious threats to her control.

Look at the numbers: Laurie and Ruba got more votes, both more popular and genuinely likable people. If TM can't control them, she's in trouble. Mercier is also a long time Kboo member and all that "corporate carpetbaggers are coming to takeover" crap isn't going to fly.
