Committee to Keep KBOO as KBOO ยท
AND FROM JENNIFER DAVIS:
Dear KBOO friends,
I am extremely honored and grateful for the confidence you have placed in me to represent you as a candidate for the board. Like you, I love and revere the free media, uncensored information, community connections and musical and cultural diversity which KBOO brings to our lives.
I want to help KBOO thrive and flourish. I have intermittently volunteered directly with KBOO over a thirty year period. I am an avid KBOO listener. I now have some time in my life, taking a break from other community activism, to run for the KBOO board, which some KBOO friends had suggested I do. I would love to be helpful to KBOO in any capacity, and I really don't feel the board would be the only way to be helpful. So I am very neutral about where you place my name in your list. Please feel free to put it anywhere you like on the list!
Next week I will be contacting the volunteer coordinator to see about how I can help out at KBOO as needed now. Also, I will be sending out to KBOO board folks and some KBOO friends a bunch of my ideas for ways to organize the committees, marketing, etc. based on experience gleaned from thirty years of: community activism, gardening, serving on two boards, helping to create an elementary school, working as a film production manager, an artistic director and as an artist, also working lots of other jobs (primarily as a janitor, dishwasher, cook, waitress, nanny and teen counsellor) and raising two kids. This way folks can get a deeper insight into me as a person, and who knows? Maybe some of the ideas would be helpful to KBOO. I will CC you folks on these ideas-if you think this would be appropriate and useful.
Viva KBOO!
Cheers,
Jennifer Davis

As far was we can see, Davis is the only person of these four being bamboozled. The last thing she should be doing is exposes every aspect of her life to these people. Note it wasn't her idea to run for the board:
" I now have some time in my life, taking a break from other community activism, to run for the KBOO board, which some KBOO friends had suggested I do."
Like to know who suggested that. A mom with two kids doesn't deserve to get sucked into a micro cult. At least not without knowing what she's getting into. Someone needs to reach her and get her informeation.
Gentlemen(and women), there's work to do.
Anyone have the contact for Davis DO NOT post it in public. Message or email.
