Rocketed to fame at the June 3rd board meeting with T-SHIRT GATE, where Uris loudly claimed saying "commie pinko " was exactly like saying "black killers, pimp whore mexicans". operationfreespeech.boards.net/thread/102/shirtgate-inner-party-loonies-board?page=1&scrollTo=115This was an attempt to blame the T-shirt on station Manager Lynn Fitch. But when it came out that staff, lead by Theresa Mitchell's wife Ani Haines, designed and approved the T-shirt, Uris and company went silent. Rumor is Uris was given copy to read from at the beginning of the meeting, but if he's bothered he was roped into spreading lies about Lynn Fitch for an "Inner Party" agenda, there's been no sign of it. Certainly no admission he was wrong or any apology to Fitch.

Guess Theresa Mitchell's fans want to be reminded of Joe Uris helping her spread lies about Lynn Fitch? Who was set up by Ani Haines who actually designed and/or approved the T-shirt?
Not sure how this will help getting Ani rehired....
