IMO Sheri's being a little too trusting. How does she know it's a nutjob apart from salud (london?) saying so? Maybe they had off list contact. Why didn't salud say instead: "Yeah, this guy's a nut. He's a conman mad about this thread (LINK)." ?
I don't think he even checked. If this is a habit with PIMC, dismissing any concern as a nut because it's inconvenient, they're headed to a boatload of trouble. Just like KBOO.
Pate being a dishonest scammer doesn't mean he hasn't managed to get a lawyer to take his case. Notice a copy of the attached letter isn't available making it impossible to tell if it's a lawsuit or "lolsuit".
