Can she get any more obvious who her message is really for?
Uh huh. Because it isn't perfect, we shouldn't bother. Wonder what all those uninsured people think? Oh yeah, they don't care. Something is better than nothing. And just because it's not perfect, doesn't mean it can't be improved.

Why important? "Obamacare" was a scare tactic invented by the right, tatcis Haines and co seem to be adopting:

It wasn't just Republicans... it was the worst of the far right, gun nuts and conspiracy groups who would become the Tea Baggers:

Didn't Conser say the Tea Baggers were welcome at KBOO? Guess Ani's rolling out the welcome mat, using her "but I'm really a radical feminist, trust me" political jujitsu...

I was just having this discussion with a friend, when I saw Ahjamu Umi's post. He just said it way better than me. Thank you, Ahjamu. Capitalism and healthcare don't mix. Really, capitalism and just about anything that is important to sustaining life and happiness don't mix.

"Obamacare" is just a label applied to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) which is really just a capitalist reform designed to appease the overwhelming demand for quality health care. The real solution is universal socialist free health care. People are so ignorant about the differences, what's what, and how anything actually works or doesn't work that many people will read this and disagree without even understanding why (because your programmer - the capitalist propaganda machine - told you too disagree - that's why!)

There it was, the derogatory term critics invented for President Obama’s health law, more properly known as the Affordable Care Act of 2010. Republicans long ago successfully pasted the president’s name on the program to deride it as a big-government boondoggle. But now an unlikely group has adopted the moniker: Democrats

A few weeks later, Gary A. Beckman, writing a letter to the editor of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, complained on March 26, 2007, "Wait until the Dems seriously whittle away the Patriot Act, Second Amendment rights and border security. Wait until we experience socialized medicine a la Hillarycare or Obamacare ... Yes, you Democrats and independents (who voted Democrat) have made a difference with your 2006 vote. Congratulations."
