The yellow blog, is, after all hosted by Google.

Dear Everybody;
As you know an Anonymous Cyberbully Hit Squad is using its website to attack KBOO staff members as well as some people on the Board. I personally have been hit very hard by this, which aside from the website has included a fake letter to the editor accusing me of criminality sent to all my associates in the media.
Now I know why so many people kill themselves over anonymous, damaging harassment on the internet and I personally would like to spare ANYONE from ever having to deal with the anxiety I and my family have faced over this.
If I were not a journalist with a significant body of work on the web, and a person with a large community of warm supporters on her side, my life and professional reputation would have been severely harmed. Dudes, my family is fucking freaked out because some of them have seen THEIR names on this website now. And the thing is, I got involved in this whole mess by advocating against these exact cyberbullies on my FB.
(FYI these cyberbullies are apparently supporters of the Interim Station Manager, whom they invoke on their website as their reason for being.)
I would like to go on record about the fact that several members of this board -- who have all now quit -- made great personal pretense to me about how much I deserved the harassment.
But I would like to make it crystal clear that nobody deserves to be lied about and smeared by ANONYMOUS BULLIES WITHOUT THE COURAGE TO OPENLY STAND BEHIND THEIR OPINIONS.
So I have reached out to my colleagues in law enforcement and they advise me that yes, there is a place where a victim can report this kind of activity -- the FBI. It is impossible to say whether they could actually make it stop, but I am going to investigate the limits and opportunities this kind of reporting might bring. I don't support the FBI per se but if there is an avenue where vulnerable people can try to protect themselves against vicious harassment I would at least like that information out there. Anything to keep people from feeling the helplessness I and others have felt.
I haven't decided whether I am actually going to report the two IP addresses I dug out of the fake email's source code and the ping from the haters' website (yes "hacking" does not always involve illegal behavior) --I am always one to advocate against circular firing squads.
BUT I WILL SAY IT ONE MORE TIME: Now I know why so many people kill themselves over anonymous, damaging harassment on the internet and I personally would like to spare ANYONE from ever having to deal with the anxiety I and my family have faced over this.

Lisa: Sue Rutledge requested that I assist you with regard to your cyberbullying question. I apologize for my delay in responding. I suggest that you report your concern to the FBI online through the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) which is located at www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. The IC3 is staffed by the FBI and other federal agencies and one of the things they do is receive and respond to complaints regarding cyberbullying. In your complaint, you should provide them with much the same information you provided Sue, except that you’ll want to provide them the specific IP addressing information you gathered so that they can take the next step with the information you have gathered.
